Let's move!
Our netball league team have now played all of their matches. They won all but one of them with some very convincing wins.
We had a very difficult game against Leven but they dug deep, found an inner strength and won by one goal. They showed great skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout the games and Mrs Campey & Mrs Brompton were extremely proud of them all. They were treated to an ice pop after netball club for all they had achieved.

The children had a great time taking part in the cross country at Brantingham Park.
The netball team have had a great start to the season winning their first three fixtures in very windy weather. Mrs Brompton and Mrs Campey said the standard has been high and our pupils have met the challenge with determination. The team narrowly missed out on first place in a recent fixture but are out again after the Easter break.
We took part in a tri-golf event on Wednesday 3 April at Sigglesthorne Primary School. Mrs Brompton was really impressed with the skill our children showed and their enthusiasm for the game. We came second over all.
Class 5 have been extending their skills in football.
On Friday our netball team played their first three fixtures in the league and I am pleased to say that they won all three games! Mrs Brompton and Mrs Campey were thrilled with the team’s excellent performance in very windy conditions! They are now looking forward to their next fixtures with hopefully the same success!
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this event. We had lots of runners who represented the school so brilliantly. Miss McIntyre, Mr Barnes and Mrs Brompton were proud of the children who ran with such enthusiasm.
Our Year 5/6 took part in a Dodgeball Tournament at Longcroft School. Miss McIntyre was very proud of their attitude, determination and teamwork. Well done everyone!
The children were building strength and stamina at athletics club. They were monitoring their results using the new activity trackers.
Brandesburton Children were amazing at the dodgeball tournament held at Hornsea Leisure Center.
Our two teams played brilliantly ending the tournament overall winners and in 5th place. The winning team will now qualify for the next round. Mr Barnes and Miss McIntyre were really pleased with the way the children played and the results. Thank you to all who supported the event.
